Critical molecular anthropology scholar
Sana Saboowala is a PhD Candidate at the University or Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the Program for Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology. Her doctoral research takes a mixed methods approach to understanding the embodied impacts of Partition in South Asia through oral histories and epigenetics. Her research interests include: feminist science and technology studies, epigenetics, molecular biology, museum studies, and memory studies.
